Thesis Term Paper On Ernest Hemingway And A British Author.?

I have to write a thesis term paper using a world and british author, my favorite author is Ernest Hemingway so i want to choose him but i cant find a british author that i can make a thesis on. Any ideas?

First you should narrow your topic–what is it about Hemingway you want to describe in your papper? His characters? Writing style? Once you decide this, then choose a British author you can relate to this topic.
For example, if I chose to write about Hemingway’s style in “Hills Like White Elephants,” I would compare his sparce, dialoge-driven prose with that of James Joyce’s elaborate style (if an Irish author is acceptable) in “The Dead.”
