When writing a college paper what does it mean to adhere to APA formatting and style guidelines?
I just started college for nursing. I am writing my first paper in years. My professor wants all our papers to be written following APA formatting and style guidelines. I have no idea what that means. Please help!

It means your professor wants you to use the style guidelines for the American Psychological Association when you write. You can find style books at your local book store. They also have a website to answer questions. http://www.apastyle.org/

if you need help contact me. I have three degree (AAS in human services, BA in psychology, and MS in psychology) and have been writing in apa format for 8 yrs.
