News Update: Morgan Stanley Picks Up Citigroup Talent (C,MS,NYX)


3/8/2010-Citigroup’s (NYSE:C) Chairman of investment banking for financial institutions, Gary Shedline, is reportedly leaving the company to join the ranks of Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS), Bloomberg reported Monday morning citing sources familiar with the matter. The Bloomberg report said Mr. Shedlin told Citigroup of his intention recently, and was responsible for overseeing the NYSE Euronext (NYSE:NYX) merger. However, Citigroup’s financial institutions group continues to be headed by David Head.
