extra spaces between paragraphs are not allowed but it looks bad if it just says “procedures” and then the rest of the paragraph is on the other page, should I just move the heading to the next page and disregard the spacing issue?

I’m writing a research paper on macular degeneration for a college class. I can choose to do either style, but don’t know which is easier to learn. THANKS!

If you’re writing about a single article (this one is from the internet), and you’ve already put it in your references at the end, then every time you mention what the article says (which happens a lot), saying something like “The article says that …”, do you have to always put a citation at the end of that? You already said that it’s in the article.
It’s from the internet so there are no page numbers.

I realize that you are supposed to avoid using both 1st and 3rd person when writing by APA guidelines. Is it acceptable though to use 1st person in my introduction and conclusion as long as I do not use it in the body of my essay? The essay I am writing is about personal experience.

Hi there, i am writing up the results of a one-way independent groups ANOVA (my tests used bonferroni corrections, as they were a priori comparisons). I’m just wondering, as I had obtained significant results, am I allowed to write the outcomes directionally (ie significantly greater than, rather than a significant difference)?

So in the APA Style, you enter a section title every time you change gears.
I just needed to know if the section title needs to be underlined like the overall title of the paper.
Thanks.
