i have to write an essat for college and i dont know what to write about. There’s no specific topic. Also how would i start it?

the option too write an essay over a topic of my choice or three other choices that they’ve provided me. My question is, will me writing an essay over my personal topic have any effect on my addmitance.

I’ve heard that colleges don’t accept many asian students, and while I am asian, I’m closer to “indian” than chinese descent. In the u.s. most people hear asian and think “chinese”, so what could i write on my college application?

The prompt (from the Common App):
Evaluate a significant experience, achievement, risk you have taken, or ethical dilemma you have faced and its impact on you.
I plan to guide the reader through an experience I overcame each step of the way, as if everything is happening as the reader’s reading my essay. I figured it might give them a sense of participation. Would this be appropriate, considering the incident has already happened? Do adcoms frown upon doing so?

I am applying to NJIT. The question they asked for my essay is,”Why are you applying to NJIT?” I scored a 1110 on my sat and my gpa is 3.0. This is the only school in NEw JErsey that has the major i want, Archtecture, besides pricton witch i dont have high hope to get in to. i dont know how i should start my essay , with a personal story or what.

What I mean format. Its only 500 words. So do I do all that intro with thesis stuff or just go right in. The question is. Considering that you will be able to vote in the 2008 presidential election, what are you looking for in a candidate? How do the media help or hinder your assessment of the presidential hopefuls? Any help with what I can talk about too?

im in 11th grade and i want to become a doctor. for college applications, what do you write down? do you write the medical school you want to go to or undergrad thingy? honestly, i dont know. can any med student help me with the college application? and if u do go to an undergrad, what do you do? please tell me all the steps to becoming a doctor and if i can have your email so i could talk to you! thanks a bunch!

I am writing college application essays but I find myself wanting to write longer than 2 pages. Maybe up to 2 1/2 pages. I feel if I write shorter than I can’t get my point across. Please help! thanks
