The prof. did not say MLA style, he just said footnotes or endnotes. So, can I just include a reference page, or do I still have to cite within the paper?

for english we need to read 2008 pages for the year 2008. sweet, i know. but we need to write a thesis paper and it can be about anything that you got from the books. basically, i just need a few books that are somehow related to one thesis statement and it can be about anything in the world. its just like.. what you got out of the experience of reading them. so what books can anyone suggest that are similar and i could form a good thesis from?

I have these 2 books written by the same guy, i’ve read i have to arrange them alphabetically but what do i put when i actually put quotes into the paragraphs like.
I have two PDF studies from the same website, same organization, published in different months of the same year. I want to do in-text citations, but they would have the same title in the paper, and the same year. What do I do?
