I was just using the TAB button to indent my essays, but I was told you’re not supposed to use the tab button? Any idea how?

I’ve never used endnotes before, I’ve only used parenthetical citations. I’m not really use to it, have a only a little idea about it. I kind of unsure what to specifically ask cause I don’t know that much about it….so, how about, if your citing something..maybe two or three different things, do they get they same number in the superscript………..if someone could give specifics that would be cool
